Located in prestigious Bay Colony, this project began with a remodel of select areas of the home which was initiated and completed as Phase 1 in just six months. Our number one objective was to “de-tuscanize” the property. In addition to remodeling certain areas in the home, we completely furnished each room, as well as the exterior pool deck and lanai with luxury brands. We were challenged with a ceiling height of 22 ft in the living room and decided to commission local artist Rene Conti to paint several water scapes to compliment the venue. When curating the furnishings for this home, Bethany was inspired by indigenous flora and fauna and allowed that to dictate the color choice. She juxtaposed dark woods with textural fabrics in serene colors. The balance of layering created a rich and warm environment that completely envelops you. By introducing a few cherished antiques with touches of modernity throughout, this home is full of soul and meaning. This project was featured as an editorial in Florida Design, as well as be published in the national magazine Southern Home.
